Franziska Förg, Analyst
Franziska joins Navius with a diverse background in energy-economy modeling, policy analysis, earth system studies, and spatial research methods.
She completed a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a minor in Political Science at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany. This multi-disciplinary program provided her with a good understanding of socio-economic and environmental systems. She furthered her understanding on energy policy, environmental economics, and energy-economy modeling during her Master’s in Resource and Environmental Management at Simon Fraser University. In her graduate studies she researched greenhouse gas mitigation pathways for Metro Vancouver and multi-government policy interactions using energy-economy modeling and spatial analysis.
In her free time Franziska enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, camping, and skiing. When not found outside, she likes to make music, paint, and experiment with photography.
